I totally forgot to write anything on my blog the previous year, I guess it's time to pick up the blog hobby again! That could be my new years resolution I suppose!

Motivational speaker - Les Browns.
Whenever you feel like life/someone is pushing you down, whenever you feel like a failure watch this guy (preferably the whole series of part 1-6) and you'll find the little spark of joy again. What you experienced in the past, whatever someone tells you is not a reflection of who you really are, it's only your/other beliefs. Never ever make this to your own truth and always pursue your dreams, only you can do it even if someone else tells you that you can't.

A day in Donald Ducks life.
Can't beleive I haven't seen this one before. So good! Especially around 2 minutes into it when he has a conflict with his own voice.

Workout day, shoulders and back.
I decided to hit the gym today and do a proper shoulder/back workout.
As some of you may have noticed I do not eat many carbohydrates (usually below 20 gr a day) and may ask how this works out with weight lifting. I can honestly say that I do equally good now as I did with carbohydrates. Surely it takes a while to get used to, but once you've passed the period where you adjust to fats rather than carbohydrates as the primary fuel it goes very easy.
I'm still trying to lose some fat so I haven't increased a lot with the weights at the gym, mainly because I eat less and lose weight, therefore it's hard to increase the weights at the gym.
So far I lost:

So far I lost:
- 26 kg on the scale
- 26 cm around the belly button
- Gone from 32 in BMI to 24.5

Warmup gesture drawing.
I saw this link at the 11 Second club and it's an interesting approach he has towards the figure drawing, not just drawing the character but also adding a touch of his own while doing it. I really recommend that you watch it whether you're an animator, modeler or an 2D graphical artist.

Brilliant animation from Princess and the frog!
I can watch this clip over and over, it's really funny!
Even though 'Princess and the frog' might not be up to quality of the old Disney movies I still think that 2D animation is what they do best. They've tried some 3D animation but I never really felt that those were as good (except for the upcoming 'Tangled' that is). I would love to see more 2D animated movies from Disney because it feels like it's their strongest side.
I'm still a big fan of Aladdin, Quack pack, Goof troop and the rest of the series that were created back in the 80s/90s, too bad most of them never made it onto DVD discs (at least not with Swedish voices which makes the nostalgia complete). I wouldn't mind if Disney decided to create new versions based upon these series, that would be really cool actually!

Upcoming animated movies worth watching!
There are quite a few animated movies I'm looking forward to watch. Among them there is the latest 'Toy Story 3' that looks totally awesome, and I never experienced a bad Pixar movie so I'm sure this won't let us down either.
Another movie I really want to watch is Disneys latest movie called 'Tangled', watch the video for yourself and see what you think about it. It looks really promising I think!

New design coming up!
It's been quite a while since I did anything to this site, so I thought it could be a good idea to revise it a bit. I've changed the whole look to it and I've also added a few more things to it, such as links and info pages.
I really like how user friendly blogspot is, and I will definitly put some interesting stuff up here in the upcoming weeks now that I know how it works! Since I'm very interested in nutrition and arts that will be my main focus on this blog.

It's been a while!
Howdy!
It's been a while since I wrote here.
As you might see on my profile on the left I work as a game animator, and you might ask what games I worked on. Right now I've been working on Battlefield:Bad company and Mirrors edge at EA Digital Illusions and I'm currently working on Battlefield:Bad company 2. But at the moment I'm having four beautiful weeks of vacation which is awesome. Hopefully I'll spend some time beeing creative.
